Tickets

Create a New Ticket

This feature allows you to create a new ticket and include any relevant custom notes or details for easy tracking and reference.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Tickets tab.
  2. Click the Add Ticket button. The Add New Ticket dialog opens with a Basic Information tab and a Custom Notes tab.
  3. On the Basic Information tab, fill in the ticket details: Ticket Type, Holder Name, Email, Company Name, and Contact Number.
  4. (Optional) Click the Custom Notes tab to add additional notes related to the ticket, such as:
    • Meal Preference: Vegetarian
    • Brought By: John Doe
  5. Review your entries and click Submit to save the ticket.

Create a Ticket Type

This feature allows you to create custom ticket types to categorize and organize your event attendees.

Steps:

  1. Click the Add Type button at the top right of the Ticket Types card.
  2. Name your ticket type.
  3. Click Submit.

Editing or Deleting a Ticket Type

Each existing ticket type appears as a row in the Ticket Types panel, with a horizontal progress bar and ticket count. Hover over the row to reveal two action buttons on the right.

  1. Hover over the ticket type row to reveal the pencil (edit) and trash (delete) icons.
  2. Click the pencil icon to open the same dialog with the type pre-filled, make your changes, and click Submit.
  3. Click the trash icon and confirm in the popup to delete the ticket type.
Empty state: If no ticket types exist yet, the panel shows "No ticket types yet" with a hint to "Click 'Add Type' to create one".

Downloading a Ticket

This feature generates printable PDFs of your selected tickets and packages them into a ZIP archive. PDFs are rendered in your browser, so the page must stay open until the download finishes.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Tickets tab.
  2. Select the ticket(s) you wish to download.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select Download Tickets.
  5. A progress dialog opens, showing the current ticket holder name and a counter (current / total). Status messages cycle through "Generating ZIP file…" → "Download Complete!" (or "Download Failed" on error).
  6. When complete, your browser downloads a single ZIP file named Bulk_Download_Tickets_<YYYY-MM-DD>.zip.
  7. (Optional) To download All Tickets, toggle Show All Tickets, select all, and click Download Tickets.

PDF Filenames

Each PDF inside the ZIP is named based on the ticket holder's details:

  • <companyName> - <holderName> - <email>.pdf when those fields are present.
  • ticket_<ticketNumber>.pdf as a fallback if any of the above are missing.
Heads up: Large selections (e.g. several hundred tickets) can take a few minutes to render. Don't close the tab or navigate away while the progress dialog is open — the ZIP is built entirely in the browser.

Importing Tickets

Bulk import tickets from a spreadsheet using the SOURems template. There are two types of importing:

  • Creating New Tickets – Add new attendees to your event
  • Bulk Updating Tickets – Modify existing ticket records
Important: When creating new tickets, each combination of Full Name + Email + Contact Number must be unique. Duplicate entries will be skipped and flagged in the import results. This check is bypassed when updating existing tickets.

Creating New Tickets

  1. Click the Actions button.
  2. Select Import Tickets from the dropdown.
  3. Click Download Import Template to download the template.
  4. Fill in the template with your ticket data.
    • You can add custom notes by adding columns after contact_number
  5. Upload your file to the Drag and drop your file here area.
  6. Click Continue to complete the import.

Bulk Updating Tickets

  1. Select the tickets you want to update.
  2. Click Actions > Export to download current data.
  3. Edit the exported file as needed.
    • Do not modify the Number (#), Ticket Number, or Created At columns
  4. Click Actions > Import Tickets.
  5. Upload your edited file and click Continue.

Template Columns

Column Example

full_name John Doe

Exporting Tickets

This feature allows you to bulk export tickets to a CSV file, making it easy to access or keep records of ticket data.

  1. Go to the Tickets tab.
  2. Select the ticket(s) you wish to export.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select Export.
  5. (Optional) To export All Tickets, toggle Show All Tickets, select all, and click Export.

Editing a Ticket

This feature allows you to update ticket information such as attendee details or notes.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Tickets tab.
  2. Click on the ticket you wish to edit. The Ticket Details drawer opens on the right.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon at the top right corner. The Edit Ticket dialog opens with the existing ticket information pre-filled.
  4. Make the necessary changes on the Basic Information or Custom Notes tab.
  5. Click Submit to apply the updates.

Ticket Details Drawer

The detail drawer shows the ticket's information and offers three actions:

  • Pencil (top right) — opens the Edit Ticket dialog (same form used to add a ticket, in edit mode).
  • Trash (top right) — deletes the ticket after a confirmation popup. See Deleting a Ticket.
  • Show Ticket (bottom of drawer) — opens the public ticket preview in a new tab. See Show Ticket Preview.

The drawer body shows the Ticket Type, Email, Company Name, Contact Number, Custom Notes, and an Email Campaign Sent list with the per-campaign send count for this ticket.

Searching or Filtering Tickets

Use the search and filter functions to quickly locate tickets based on specific criteria or multiple conditions.

Note: The auto-rotating carousel at the very top of the Tickets page is a sub-event navigator, not a filter. Clicking a card opens the Event Detail page for that sub-event — it does not narrow down the ticket list below.
  1. For a quick lookup, use the Search Bar to find tickets by name, company, or keyword. The search is debounced — results update automatically as you type, no need to press Enter.
  2. For a detailed search, use the Filter feature. Click on Filters to open the filtering panel. When one or more filters are active, the Filter button shows a red count badge.
  3. Choose between the following filter modes:
    • All of the Following (AND Logic): All selected conditions must match.

Example: Status = “Active” AND Role = “Admin” → Only tickets matching both conditions appear.

    • Any of the Following (OR Logic): At least one condition must match.

Example: Status = “Active” OR Role = “Admin” → Tickets meeting either condition appear.

  4. Set your desired conditions, then apply the filter to view the results.

Table Assignment Status Preset

The Filter dialog includes a quick preset above the standard criteria filter, useful for preparing seating with the Layout Designer:

  • Unset — do not filter by table assignment.
  • Assigned — show only tickets that have been assigned to a table or seat.
  • Not Assigned — show only tickets without a table or seat assignment.

Example Scenarios:

  1. To find tickets with Ticket Type: VIP and Company Name containing “FOT Labs”, use All of the Following (AND logic).
  2. To find all tickets with Ticket Type: ADMIN or Company Name containing “Rivera”, use Any of the Following (OR logic).

Bulk Change Ticket Type

Use this action to move multiple selected tickets to a different ticket type in one step.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Tickets tab.
  2. Select the tickets you want to reassign.
  3. Click the Actions button, then choose Change Ticket Type.
  4. In the Select Ticket Type dialog, choose the target type from the dropdown and click Continue.
  5. A confirmation popup appears ("Change ticket type for N tickets"). Click Change All to apply the change.

Deleting a Ticket

You can delete a single ticket from its detail drawer, or delete several tickets at once from the toolbar.

Single Delete

  1. Click the ticket row to open the Ticket Details drawer.
  2. Click the trash icon at the top right of the drawer.
  3. Confirm in the popup to delete the ticket.

Bulk Delete

  1. Select one or more tickets in the table.
  2. A red Delete button appears in the toolbar with a count badge showing the number of selected tickets.
  3. Click Delete — a confirmation popup appears ("Delete this ticket" or "Delete N tickets").
  4. Click Delete All in the popup to remove the selected tickets.

Show Ticket Preview

Open the public, printable preview of a ticket in a new browser tab. This is useful for spot-checking what your attendees will see.

Steps:

  1. Click the ticket row to open the Ticket Details drawer.
  2. Click the Show Ticket button at the bottom of the drawer.
  3. A new browser tab opens at the public ticket preview page, showing the ticket's QR code, holder name, event details, and seat assignment (if any).
